Review: Now You See Me

Now You See Me is a great blockbuster movie full of misdirection, wonder, magic, bank heists, mystery and Robin Hood-ism. How can all these elements fits together? Why, like a glove.

The movie is about four magicians – The Four Horsemen – whom the FBI is chasing because of their uncanny ability to rob (banks, millionaires, etc.) during their magic shows. It’s really a lovely movie, with beautiful effects and mind-boggling magic tricks. All the while you keep wondering what their end game is, if The Eye is actually a secret organization and what its goal is. And most importantly, you wonder who is in on it and who isn’t.

It’s quite a wonderful exercise for the brain while never taking away its entertainment value. I’d really recommend this movie to anyone.
