I’m going to be honest here. I can’t review this movie. I just can’t without spoiling the hell out of it, and I want everyone to see this movie and experience every gut-punch and every triumph. Just know that once the movie ended, everyone in the movie theater sat in stunned silence. That is all you need to know. Go see this movie.
I bought Uncharted: The Nathan Drake collection in a combination deal with my Playstation. The collection is comprised of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted: Among Thieves and Uncharted: Drake’s Deception. I finished the last game of the three on the 2nd of April. And what a ride it was.
Before I bought the games I didn’t really know anything about the Uncharted series except for the fact that it was about an explorer. I figured it was something like Indiana Jones/Tomb Raider. I was right, kinda.
Trespasser is a story DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition. A Twitter friend of mine suggested I play this one, and I decided to take her advice. I didn’t play any of the other DLC.
I’ve spent most of my time not editing, actually. It’s only been a few weeks since I went back to editing draft 1.5 of [BOR]. My head hasn’t been in the game for a while now, but I’m getting back into it. I’m hoping for no more distractions. Continue reading
The Ace of Skulls is the fourth and final book in the Tales of the Ketty Jay series by Chris Wooding.
The crew of the Ketty Jay has been set up, betrayed, double-crossed and shot down. They’ve done terrible things for money, and displayed heroics for no other reason than righteousness. They’re rascals with a heart. But now civil war has come to Vardia, and captain Darian Frey knows his was a large part in its conception. The Archduke’s forces and the religious Awakeners are at each other’s throats, and Vardia is caught int he middle. Frey is determined to keep his crew out of the war, but chaos has a way of disrupting the best laid of plans.
Well, first things first: [TT] has an official working title now! So from here on out I’ll be referring to it as [SOPAB]. And no, I’m not going to explain what it stands for 😉 I whittled my list of 16 possible titles down to six, after which I asked some people to choose which ones would entice them in a bookstore, and gave them a quick rundown of the major themes of the story. There was no clear favourite, but their feedback helped me choose the one I’ve gone with.
