Review: Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection

I bought Uncharted: The Nathan Drake collection in a combination deal with my Playstation. The collection is comprised of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted: Among Thieves and Uncharted: Drake’s Deception. I finished the last game of the three on the 2nd of April. And what a ride it was.

Before I bought the games I didn’t really know anything about the Uncharted series except for the fact that it was about an explorer. I figured it was something like Indiana Jones/Tomb Raider. I was right, kinda.

Editing Update #12

I finished editing [OSAA] a few days before November hit in 2017. I had been working on draft 2.5, incorporating my beta readers’ feedback and my own comments. Draft 3 was the draft I meant to send in during Angry Robot’s Open Door period. Then November came, I had finished my last edit and I sent it in.

Status

Editing Update #8

I’ve finished editing both my novellas; I finished editing down my NaNoWriMo 2014 novel [SG] to a novella first, because I wanted to submit it to The Book Smugglers’ novella initiative. Which I did, though I’ve not heard back yet. But on their site they said to wait until August to hear, I believe, so if I haven’t heard anything by then, they’ve decided not to go with my story.

I love editing!

You know, I never really thought about editing as something I love to do. I mean, I like doing it sure; I edit almost every day for hellokpop. But I never thought I’d love it as much as I do. Until a friend of mine gave me his Fantasy story to read that is. It was just the beginning of his story, but I was immediately in editor mode – red pen ready and everything. Of course, he had it on an iPad, so my wish to wield my mighty red pen went out the window, but I did get to seriously edit and insert comments about what I thought. Continue reading
