So, I’ve decided to put the writing of [C] on a halt for now. I’ve been having a hard time writing on this novel, and my daily word counts are nothing to write home about. Continue reading
I’ve spent most of my time editing my WIP’s, but I’ve also started writing a fourth novel [C]. I was actually plotting a campfire story [E] (I still don’t know whether it’s going to be a novel or a novella at this point), but I got stuck.
Well, first things first: I sent the second draft of my NaNoWriMo2015 novel [OSAA] to two of my beta readers around the last few days of 2016, and sent it to another beta reader on the 22nd of January 2017. I’m hoping to get their feedback around March, though I’ve not given them a hard deadline. I still find it hard to set an actual deadline; they’re busy people, I’m not paying them for their hard work, and the draft is pretty big. Perhaps I’ll get better at that someday.
I’ve been preoccupied with feverishly editing my second NaNoWriMo novel [OSAA] for a couple of months now, and after spending weeks on draft 1.5, I’ve officially started on draft 2. After finishing up my last couple of comments I hope to send this novel to my beta readers. It’ll probably take me another couple of weeks though. I might not finalize it until 2017.
I officially started querying UK agents on the 18th of this month, after spending a lot of time researching agents and checking out which ones would be the right fit for me and my manuscript [TEE].
It’s been a while since I’ve been writing steadily, and even though I am right now, it’s not on a story. I’m busy writing my Bachelor thesis, which topic I can’t divulge yet at this time. Let’s see if I get a high grade and I actually graduate this semester. I’ll dole out a little hint: it has to do with manga, anime and Fantasy.
